It so happened that a small yellow bird flew over the boundless cold ocean for days and nights. She was very tired. Thunder, lightning, storms and hurricanes were on her way. She was completely exhausted, her wings were already touching the water, but the bird stubbornly flew forward. And so she even tweeted softly when she saw the saving land. But the bird's joy melted away like a morning mist. It was a desert. It was impossible to land. The hot sand would have fried the little bird in an instant, and it continued its exhausting flight. Hot sands stretched to the horizon in all directions, not a single tree or even a bush was visible. And suddenly the bird noticed an object on the dune on which it was possible to land. Gliding on exhausted wings, she sat down on the top of her skull, polished by the merciless rays of the scorching sun. After taking a little rest from a long flight, the bird felt the saving coolness that blew from the empty eye sockets of the large skull, and immediately jumped inside. The skull didn't even notice that for a long period of time a small living creature literally fell on his head. He was indulging in his memories. There was once a huge metropolis here, where thousands of wonderful people lived and worked. They invented new devices, developed new technologies, engaged in art, communicated with each other, actively evolved and progressed. The city stretched along the coast of the most beautiful ocean and was buried in trees, shrubs and other exotic greenery. The skull remembered happy, spiritual faces, people laughing, breathing clean air and drinking spring water. Sometimes the skull was so immersed in its memories that tears appeared in its empty eye sockets, flowed down, and a small depression inside it filled like a lake. The little yellow bird had been thirsty for a long time and found herself in the coolness inside the skull, she saw water. Having drunk enough, the bird plunged into a long deep sleep. The bird dreamed that she still flew to the place she dreamed of and where she has been flying for so long that she grew up and turned into a bird of wondrous beauty.
